Some users asked me: can’t you make a special extension cable for us? How niche can this be? A special cable for accessories for a phone? Yes, that’s niche.
But I made one and it’s for sale now. In the end, the great sales figures of the 3GJUICE made me decide to give you something back: a total niche cable * . I noticed that in some forums people begged firms to make a cable like this. How can I resist?
What does it do? It extends your iPhone or iPod. Put one end in the iPod/iPhone and another end in any 30 pins accessories. Without any signal loss or jitter, the video and audio will be transfered through “3GJUICE THE CABLE”. You also use it to dock your device from a distance. It’s small, very flexible and we managed to save some costs by ignoring a fancy box (for once). The cable is about 60 cm long (24 inch) and allows transfer of power, audio, USB sync, all controls for play, composite video and all kinds of accessory power. It’s compatible with all stuff that Apple has put on the market from 2nd generation on: iPhone, iPod, iTouch, iPod Nano !
It’s also ideal for the iTouch users who see there headphone input blocked by accessories. Now you can listen to music again with your headphones.
The product costs $24,95 in the US or 27,50 euro (incl p&p) in Europe.

* Update Aug 14: customer Edwin found out that it doesn’t work with BMW‘s Y-Cable. BMW explains why:
We are aware of the issue which was caused when Apple unexpectedly changed the hardware protocols for many of their devices. We have developed a new interface cable with an inline 12- 5 volt
converter that will allow the newer Apple designs to charge without issue. At our last update, we were still awaiting approval from Apple. As these devices were created well after the development of our interface it was impossible for us to anticipate this issue.

No, sorry. The silly solution: order 5x our cable = 5×86=4,3m. Or use
solution with holder and transmitter ON the antenna.
I ordered this based on a comment in the old description that it would work with an Otterbox (iPhone 3Gs), which is does not….which is the only reason I ordered it. Very disappointing to see the July 7th comment when I ordered it on June 24th. The current version, which I now have, does me no good.

I'm interested in purchasing the “iPhone Extension Cable”. Has the item ever been tested for the new iPhone 3GS version? If so, what size FT is the length of the cable (below link)? I recently purchased and returned the “Cablejive – 6FT Dock Extender Cable” as it is not compatible with the BMW Y-Cable for iPod Integration on the Center Console. I currently own the “CableJive – Charge Converter” and it charges and plays my music with this. But once I add the Dock Extender Cable it does not work. I just purchased the product on Amazon.com and it works great with the Charge Converter I recently had. The only downside is that the cable is 3-Feet Long, would you guys happen to have the cable length longer? Based on the link I posted recently, it looked like the cable was longer than 3 Ft, but I guess wrong. I need 5 to 6 FT, anything higher than 5 FT. Please advise, thanks!

Just take the plastic case off and wrap with electrical tape and it works great for the Otterbox.

I am also interested in any extender for the Otterbox Defender Case as well… please sign me up. Also, if you are taking suggestions… a version that is cableless (just an adapter) would be ideal for backup battery units, fm tranmitter units, etc, or any application where a cable might become entangled or cumbersome. With your comment above about the charging change on new iphone 3gs devices 12-5 volt does this mean i can use this cable on a device that doesnt charge my phone like a old speaker dock and plug the cable extension on the dock and to the phone to it will charge? this means i wouldnt have to buy that scocshe power adapter device?
Please just buy and try: that's the only way to be sure. And tell me if it worked. I'm compiling a list of compatible cars and the Audi is not on it because no customer contacted me about it yet.

I just got one and it does NOT fit in my otterbox defender case. Square plug does not go in rounded area at bottom of case. Did you have to modify yours?
No – It fit perfectly. It's at the office, and I'll check tomorrow, but I think it is exactly the same size as the apple cord that comes with the phone.

I think the package saying “THE CABLE” on it, and not the “FINALLY THERE

Ditto on this. It is exactly what I was after as well. CableJive have come up with an extender cable suited to the Ottobox line which carries all functionality. BUT, I was after a very short (10 to 12mm) extension piece, being a 'marrige' of the male and female end of the cable as one small adapter, so the iphone can still be placed/housed in the dock/accessory etc.
Bought another one so I don't have to transport my cable from my work to home.

I have an iPhone4, with an otterbox defender case, the cable connects fine.
When I plug the iphone4 to my Altec Lansing IM&, I get a message that this item is not optimized for the iPhone4, but i can easily dismiss it, and also that charging is not supported with this accessory. But all these limitations are due to my IM7, not the cable. I can play music fine thru the IM7 from my iPhone4 plugged with the 3Gjuice cable. Bottom line, if your Bose can charge the iphone4 then the cable will work. and if the cable works w/ the otterbox defender case, I am pretty sure it will work w/ the bumper case…

This cable does not appear to work with my IPhone 3GS, and the Samsung IPod docking station. The docking station works fine when the phone is plugged directly into it, but not when I use this cable. When I use this cable, I get a message on the phone stating that the connection is “not optimized for this phone” (or something like that)
