Does this device work to charge an iPad? The requirement is 5V 2A so one would think so although I'm not sure how much of a charge it will provide

redenbaugh,
As far as I know when you buy 3GJUICE you also get mini USB-cable to recharge it. I don't think you can use one cable for both 3GJUICE and Iphone, it's also not nessesary: you charge your 3GJUICE and then charge iPhone with it.
It's pretty convenient. I meen it's always there if you need to recharge your iPhone. It is always unexpected for me, when the screen die away. Also 3GJUICE is pretty small and light. You can buy the Kensington Battery Pack and Charger for iPod. But of course it's larger. So I prefer 3GJUICE.

Do you have a version of the 3GJuice Black 2.0 1800 mAh/2A DeLuxe Version iPhone/ iPod Battery Charger which can be charged using the iPhone charging cable? Or, do we need one charging cable for the iPhone and a different cable to charge the 3GJuice battery?

Unit I got from amazon was not compatable with my new 3GS. Alert came on telling my it was "Not made for iPhone" and would I like to switch to Airplane Mode. Also manufacture was poor as "On/Off" label was by the mini USB and not by the switch itself. Anybody checking? Sending back due to fear of damaging phone.

I think I must have not communicated clearly. Let me try again:

My question: When I plug the 3GJuice into my computer via USB in order to charge the 3GJuice, I am not seeing any indication as to whether the 3GJuice is charged or not. Are the lights supposed to provide an indication as to whether the 3GJuice is receiving a charge? Is it supposed to indicate when the 3GJuice has completed receiving a charge? How do you know when the 3GJuice itself completes its charge?

Thanks, Mark

I confess, it's Spartan. Your iPhone will be charged first, so you
will see the battery icon of the iPhone growing. When the 3GJUICE is
exhausted, the green light will go out. It's as simple as that :) How
do you know how long it will last? It doubles the life of your iPhone,
so 100% charge is possible, after that you live on borrowed time
(about 20% extra energy left)

Henk

It does show the green light when I put it on.

But when I plug it in, I can't tell if it is charging nor can I tell if it has reached full charge state (so I can't tell when it is time to unplug)?

What am I missing. Thanks!

The only situation where you won't see any light is when the battery
is OFF and when it's fully loaded. Put it on ON. Does it show a green
light now?

Henk van Ess
ceo 3gjuice.com (always reading every mail)
