They’ve automated almost every stage of their manufacturing process, like mixing, slurry, coating and winding to ensure a high level of uniformity.
That enables them to built cheap and fast, but the quality is good. Sounds Chinese, doesn’t it? China BAK produces over 2.000.000 battery units per month (2008). Five years earlier, in 2003, they produced ‘only’ 300.000 units each month. Currently they are building a new factory in the industrial park of Tianjin.
